This is a great place to come when you're hungry and want a comfortable casual atmosphere. Our waitress today has worked here over twenty years. The staff is very friendly and warm. We had the buffet and tea. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the food is just basic.
I came in to enjoy a late lunch here with some AT hiking companions and the place was everything I was looking for and more! They had fried fish, fried chicken, white fish filets, fried baby shrimp, a salad bar, apple pie, cherry cheesecake, butterscotch pudding, macaroni and cheese and the place had a Gone With The Wind theme which was great to check out... they had these cute quotes around! Great music-- I actually knew all the songs playing, which isn't often when I go out! Sarah was very friendly and we enjoyed our time talking with her... she even offered to pray for us and our safety the rest of our journey! All of the servers were very friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area and especially passing through from the Appalachian Trail... I left happy and ready to hike on!
